BlackHeron Technology Solutions is a one-stop technology solution firm based in North Vancouver.

  • BlackHeron Technology Solutions contacted us to design a website which was compact, clean, professional, and flowed easily from page to page. The logo and branding had already been done for the business so we ensured the website followed the same structure. The result was a small, fast loading clean and tidy website which defines the company by getting right to the point.

Mandinga is a Brazilian band based in London, England.

  • Mandinga wanted a small website which they could update themselves. The Brazilian band wanted to showcase themselves as Brazilian's but also wanted the fact that they are British to be shown through the design of the website. The website will load with an mp3 player and a list of upcoming gig's. Though the website was originally asked to be in flash, the layout was much more effective as an HTML site, making use of JavaScript.

Ingrid Pears hot glass is a Nottingham based glass blowing company, who blow excellent hand-made glass objects

  • This was a mock-up design which never turned into a website. The proposed website would have been designed in flash with strong aesthetics through use of curves and cool, soothing colours which complimented a number of images displayed. The result would have been a fast loading flash website which was to be maintained/updated through an XML file for easy updates.

UKHH.com is a hip-hop site in the United Kingdom, representing underground hip-hop music

  • A mock-up for UK hip-hop website UKHH.com, which hasn't been coded into a working website yet. The design works off of the existing design with a dark background, but distinguishes itself by solid management of information and strategic positioning of advertisements. The result is an attractive mock-up design which would load quickly, would be maintainable by anyone with a basic knowledge of computers, and hopefully converts highly through advertisement clicks.

  • Version 3 of our website. The look stood for a few months, before our designers got tired of it. The page loaded extremely quickly and allowed for a very straight forward and communicative design.

Contracted by Illanti Inc to code the website structure for tapped.com

  • Under contract we were given an image which needed to be ported into a website. By taking small slices of the image, and deciding what could be done in XHTML/what had to be done with images, we successfully made an identical match to the original image.

University of Nottingham's Environmental Guide website. Designed by GiftedNiche. A simple, and attractive website designed for pollution control
  • The Environmental Guide / University of Nottingham
  • For this project I took an existing website that was dated, and redesigned the site completely, following the University of Nottingham's branding regulations. The design called for redesigning the logo while maintaining the legacy look of the original logo, redesigning the site but keeping withing the University branding specifications. Design included search engine optimization, an attractive but straight forward menu which contains sub-menus, and information, pollution control solution pages. Design resulted in a professional website which aids in pollution control of the United Kingdom.
